SISU scholars publish over 100 articles to professionally analyze anti-epidemic situation

ISU’s scholars have published over 100 articles analyzing the domestic and international anti-epidemic situation.

Min Jie, research assistant of SISU’s Institute of Silk Road Strategy Studies, said to China.com, that the Sino-Arab cooperation is a practice of the concept of Health Community in the new era, emphasizing the medical experts dispatched to Iraq and Saudi Arabia would made difference on future Sino-Arab cooperation. The interview was made after China aided Arabian countries with resources and technology,  

Jin Jiyong, vice director of SISU’s School of International Relations and Public Affairs, said to Guangming.com, “Russia’s recent statement of supporting China to fight against the epidemic reflects "openness, inclusiveness and win-win cooperation" that BRICs have been adhering to. This spirit will also promote the sound development of global health governance.”

Foreign ministers of China, Japan and Korea held a video conference on Mar. 20 and reached an agreement on cooperation in medical and vaccine research. “The international cooperation mechanism of prevention and control is a vital step to offer the world experience for reference. ” said Jiang Feng, SISU University Council Chair, on Global Times.

Fan Hongda, professor of SISU’s Middle East Studies Institute, said there was no need to worry too much about the growth in words towards China as this showed the rest of world’s growing focus on China.

Ma Lirong, director of SISU's Institute of Silk Road Strategy Studies, has played an important role in promoting China’s voice in the time of epidemic. She pointed out that correcting distorted voices should be part of scholars’ work, when interviewed by Global Times.
