May 2, 2012  |  President Cao greeted the newly-appointed Consulate General of Mexico at Shanghai. Both sides agreed to share cultural and educational resources and develop future cooperation programs.

May 8, 2012  |  SISU delegation visited Canadian and American universities and signed agreement. SISU delegation visited several Universities including Victorian University, Columbia University, and Saint Thomas University from April 30 to May 8, 2012. The parties shared experiences in academic and research development, and discussed about future institutional collaborations. SISU signed memorandum with Saint Thomas University on conducting students and faculty exchange, curriculum cooperation, and major discipline construction.

May 8, 2012  |  President Cao greeted the newly-appointed Consulate General of Bulgaria at Shanghai. Irina Beleva, the newly-appointed Consulate General of Bulgaria, paid a visit to SISU’s Songjiang campus and met with President Cao Deming. Mrs. Beleva talked about the arranged activities which are aimed to introduce Bulgarian culture to Chinese people and to foster cooperation and communications between the two countries.

May 9, 2012  |  The Vice President of Oman's higher education committee visited SISU. Both sides exchanged ideas on promoting cooperation and conversations.

May 10, 2012  |  President Cao welcomed the representatives from Israel higher education committee. Both sides discussed about the possibility of conducting scientific researches and establishing a research center on Israeli studies.

May 15, 2012  |  Dr. Evgenios Kalpyris, the newly-appointed Consulate General of Greece at Shanghai visited SISU’s Songjiang campus and was greeted by President Cao Deming. After the meeting, he met students majoring in Greek Language, and highly praised their proficiency and academic achievement.

May 18, 2012  |  Former French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin visited SISU and delivered a speech. The two parties exchanged opinions on French and Chinese language education, and discussed Sino-France cooperation. After the meeting, Mr. Jean-Pierre Raffarin went to meet the students and delivered a lecture titled “Opening-up and Solidarity for the New World”.

May 20, 2012  |  SISU delegation visited Korean and Japanese universities, including Sungshin Women's University, Dongguk University, Pusan University of Foreign Studies, and Osaka Sangyo University in Japan from May 10 to May 19 2012. During the visit, The parties shared experiences in academic and research development, and discussed about future institutional collaborations.
