On May 10, 2012, President Cao Deming warmly welcomed Mr. Manuel Trajtenberg, the chairman of Israel higher education committee, Mr. Oren Rozenblat, the vice Consulate General of Israel at Shanghai. President Cao appreciated Israeli government and embassy’s support for the development of Hebrew linguistic studies at SISU. As regard to the further cooperation between the two parties. He said that SISU was looking forward to sending more exchange students and faculty members to Israel. Both sides discussed about the possibility of conducting scientific researches together and planned to construct a research center on Israeli studies. Chairman Trajtenberg approved the above proposals, and was hoping to see more cultural and academic exchange between Israel and China.
